IPFire 2.13 RC1 Brings ARM Support

Michael Tremer, developer for the ipfire.org team, has announced IPFire 2.13 RC1, a new development release of the popular Linux-based firewall distribution.

This latest release, IPFire 2.13 RC1 is the next big release of IPFire and comes with a huge amount of changes.

Highlights of IPFire 2.13 RC1:

• Support for the ARM architecture has been implemented;
• strongswan 5 has been added (strongswan is the software, running the IPSec VPN connections);
• 5 GHz Wireless LAN is now available;
• CoDel tool has been implemented in the distribution.

right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
