3D printing services aren't great in number yet, and the few that exist only serve a limited number of customers, but that is changing. IPF Limited is making its contribution right now in fact.

IPF Limited is among the few services that have Objet500 multi-material 3D printers from Stratasys, which means that full-color items can be 3D printed by them, on request.

That full-color 3D printing is now available to customers from the United Kingdom.

The Objet 500 Connex 3 was delivered to the Nazeing, Essex-based facility last week, according to 3DPI.

If you want a full-color toy, figurine, or whatever else, you can place an order with IPF immediately. Keep in mind, though, that the service will be closed for one day next week, during the Develop3D Live show in Coventry.

IPF wants to make an appearance there, so it will take a day off to do work of a different sort, in a manner of speaking.

IPF has customers from among students, companies, toy makers, artists, engineers, craftsmen, etc. Full-color support will expand its reach in the UK significantly. Now we can only wonder how fast the service will spread to other countries. Since the cost of color prints shouldn't be too high compared to monochrome ones, we're thinking it will be reasonably quick.
