Driver Booster is in beta stage of development at the moment, so glitches are to be expected and it may not work for all components; nevertheless, it can demonstrate its capabilities almost unhindered.
The application can start a scan for outdated drivers as soon as launched or at a user-defined interval (daily, weekly, monthly).
To keep things on the safe side, it automatically creates a restore point before installing the new drivers. Thus, you can always revert the system to a previous, healthy state if the driver causes any sort of trouble.
