The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb, has updated its standalone iPhone application which enables movie buffs to track everything even remotely connected to Hollywood, from must-see films to the most renowned, or obscure actors ever to hit the big screen.

Version 3.4.2 is a maintenance update, but one that deserves a great deal of attention from existing users. The developers say, “We've fixed a whole bunch of bugs in this release and included some minor improvements.”

Sharing stuff on email now includes a subject line (by default), homepage navigation issues are addressed (no longer get filled with unrelated content when searching), a combined filmography list now includes upcoming projects, and tapping on IMDb average rating now brings up reviews from the user base.

The developers warn that this is the final IMDb release for iOS 6. “We are working hard on an iOS 7 optimized version that will be coming soon,” according to the company.
