Dovecot, an open source IMAP and POP3 email server for Linux/UNIX-like systems, written with security primarily in mind, is now at version 2.2.4.

Dovecot 2.2.4 has passed all the IMAP server standard compliancy tests, its indexes are self-optimizing, is admin-friendly, has a very efficient authentication system, and it supports migrations from other IMAP and POP3 servers.

Highlights of Dovecot 2.2.4:

• The "flags" command has been added in order to modify message flags; • The "deduplicate" command has been added in order to expunge the message duplicates; • The state of dsync is now shown in the process title with verbose_proctitle=yes; • The Master user logins have been fixed; • A corrupted index header has been fixed; • Various assert-crashes related to locking have been fixed.
