Dovecot, an open source IMAP and POP3 email server for Linux/UNIX-like systems, written with security primarily in mind, is now at version 2.2.2.
Highlights of Dovecot 2.2.2:
• The last mail cached is now kept uncompressed in a temp file; • A pop3_deleted_flag setting has been added. Users can now switch POP3 deletions to only hide the messages from POP3; • Various URLAUTH fixes have been implemented; • A hang, with invalid APPEND parameters, has been fixed; • A crash, that occurred after the dovecot-keywords file was re-read, has been fixed; • Handling over 26 keywords in a mailbox is now possible; • A crash, that occurred if the TCP connection succeeded, but the remote login timed out, has been fixed.
