The all-in-one messenger IM+ has just been updated with more services and new features.

Given the fact that IM+ is a cross-platform application, some of the improvements added in the Android version might arrive on other operating systems as well.

For the time being, IM+ supports the following instant messaging services: Facebook, Skype, MSN/Live Messenger, Google Talk, Yahoo!, AIM/iChat, ICQ, RenRen, Jabber, mig33, SINA Weibo, Fetion, Mamba.Ru, VKontakte, Odnoklassniki.Ru, Yandex IM and Mail.Ru Agent.

Aside Skype, which is available as an in-app purchase, the rest of the services are available for free. Keep in mind that SHAPE, the team behind the popular IM+ application, might add more services in the future.

In fact, this is exactly what they did in the latest update. Starting with version 6.4.0, IM+ users will be able to take advantage of two new services: MeinVZ and Gadu-Gadu.

In addition, the application’s interface has been improved to make it feel like Ice Cream Sandwich. Developers also introduced support for Rage Faces emoticons and the ability to export bulk chat history to SD card.

Furthermore, it appears that there’s new feature available in the last version of IM+, which is called Auto OTR. This new feature allows users choose to automatically start Off-the-Record messaging session with selected contact.

The Sleep mode, which was introduced in a previous version, now allows users to set specific time when the application won't bother them with notifications.

Last but not least, there’s a new option that provides users with the possibility to customize “Contact goes online” notification. The “Go to Push in background” timeout can now be customized as well.

IM+ 6.4.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
