IFTTT, if this then that, can be a great service to automate tasks and make various separate services and sites work together.
The idea is that one action or event in one place triggers an action in another. One of the weakspots of IFTTT is that it's only as powerful as the APIs it gets to use.
The latest
addition should be more than welcomed then, users are now able to add
Google Drive into the mix. There are already quite a few recipes involving Google's popular cloud storage service.
Users can save their tweets or their favorite one to Google Drive, they can backup Facebook and Instagram photos, log Foursquare logins into a Google Docs spreadsheet and so on.
Users can even have
their Dropbox files copied to Google Drive as well. There are 127 recipes with Google Drive at this point.
