The first smartphone announced by Microsoft at this year’s IFA trade fair, Nokia Lumia 830 is a camera-oriented handset, which is advertised as an “affordable flagship.”

As expected, Lumia 830 was not the only Windows Phone devices launched by Microsoft today, as the company ended its conference with the Lumia 730’s announcement.

Previously teased by Microsoft as a “selfie phone,” the device comes in two versions: Lumia 730 and Lumia 735. Before getting into more details about these phones’ specs, let’s see what the differences are and how much they cost.

Well, the Lumia 730 is a dual-SIM smartphone that offers 3G HSDPA (21Mbps) connectivity, while the Lumia 735 is a single-SIM phone with 4G LTE support.

Another major difference between the two smartphones is the fact that Lumia 735 comes with built-in Qi standard wireless charging, while the Lumia 730 Dual SIM lacks this capability.

According to Nokia, the Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 will go on sale beginning this month for €199 ($260) and €219 ($285), respectively. They will be available in bright green, bright orange, dark grey and white.

One of the most important aspect about these smartphones is the fact that they come with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim right out of the box.

The Lumia Denim update brings lots of advanced features for the front camera thanks to the Lumia Selfie and Nokia Camera apps.

The Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 are meant to provide the best selfie experience a Lumia smartphone can offer these days. They are the first to come with 5-inch megapixels front-facing cameras with wide-angle full HD (1080p) video recording capabilities.

According to Microsoft, the front-camera included in the Lumia 730 and 735 has a high aperture of f/2.4, which means it can capture wider images.

Aside from that, both smartphones pack 6.7-megapixel rear cameras with Carl Zeiss optics, 4x digital zoom, autofocus, LED flash and f/1.9 aperture.

Just like the Lumia 830, both selfie phones are equipped with 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processors and 1GB of RAM. However, they only pack 8GB of internal memory, so you might want to think about acquiring a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The good news you get 15GB of free cloud storage via OneDrive from the start.

Moving on to display, Lumia 730 Dual SIM and Lumia 735 come with similar 4.7-inch AMOLED HD (720p) capacitive touchscreens with ClearBlack technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 glass.

They also pack quite decent 2200 mAh battery, which should last more than a day. In fact, according to the official numbers, each should offer up 25 days of standby time or up to 22 hours of talk time (17 hours in 3G mode).
