Toshiba officially introduced the Excite Pro tablet back in June and made it available one month later. Those attending this year’s IFA were also able to take it for a spin, as Toshiba showcased the Tegra-based slate during trade fair.

The Excite Pro is equipped with an Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset, which accommodates a quad-core Cortex-A15 processor, an ULP GeForce graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The slate boasts a crisp and vivid 10.1-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and 299 ppi (pixel density).

According to Toshiba, the Excite Packs two Harman Kardon stereo speakers, DTS Premium Voice Pro, Toshiba Audio Enhancement Pro and comes packed with ThinkFree Office 6.0 application.

Other highlights of the tablet include: 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 8-megapixel main camera and 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
