Last month, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics made official a new high-end device running under Google’s Android operating system, namely the LG G2, and we had the chance to take a closer look at it at IFA 2013 in Berlin.

The smartphone was announced with a 5.2-inch full HD touchscreen display (423 pixels-per-inch) and with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor packed inside, as well as with a design innovation, as it has the power and volume buttons on the back.

The handset also features 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording full HD videos at 60fps, and a front camera for video calling. It is powered by a 3000 mAh SiO+ battery.

Running under Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone comes with LG’s own UI loaded on top, and is meant to prove extremely easy to use, especially given the aforementioned placement of the power and volume buttons.
