This is a Haswell-powered laptop featuring a 14-inch HD screen

One might say that the worst part about the Lenovo Flex 14 notebook on display here in Berlin is the resolution of its LCD screen.

Then again, when a 14-inch LCD with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (HD) is the only “low” point, there isn't much to complain about.

This new notebook is powered by an Intel Core i3-4158U dual-core 2 GHz Haswell, fourth-generation CPU.

It also has 4 GB of RAM and a 10-point multitouch panel.

The real attraction, though, is the ability to switch from tablet to notebook. The screen doesn't flip over all the way, but it can go far enough that the keyboard half can be used as a stand (the keyboard is placed face-down in that mode).

Sales will start by the end of September 2013 for $629/€629. A 15-inch version will be launched as well, presumably with a higher resolution.
