While in Berlin, Germany, we stopped a bit at the booth that TRENDnet had set up. The product that caught our eye was the TEW-812DRU.

Priced at $179.99 / 142-179.99 Euro, the AC1750 dual-band wireless router has actually been available since June.

We still felt that it warranted a few pictures though. After all, not many network devices have four Gigabit LAN ports (besides the input) and both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio.

On that note, the Beam Forming technology, which improves wireless transmissions around physical obstacles, is not all that common either.

The 5 GHz 802.11ac band can reach 1,300 Mbps, while the 2.4 GHz 802.11n attains 450 Mbps.

That said, the device has a small bonus: a USB port, for sharing small storage devices with all PCs and other consumer electronics linked to the network.
