The image quality is so high that one gets the urge to feel for the objects shown

Seeing as how we were there when Sony brought out its new and wondrous Bravia TV, we could not, in good conscience, let IFA 2012 pass without reporting on it.

The 84-inch Bravia TV is not just large, it is a larger TV with a resolution of 4K2K.

That’s leagues above the Full HD standard (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) that most TVs and monitors adhere to at present.

Noteworthy is that the Bravia 4K TV has high-quality sound as well. In fact, there are ten speakers built into it.

Finally, the 4K X-Reality PRO Engine converts, in real-time, films and videos in lower resolutions. The end result isn’t the same as actual 4K footage, but the quality increase should be significant either way.

See below for the photos we were able to make of the large television set.
