Sony continues extending its already impressive IFA 2011 lineup with the addition of a certain e-reader revealed late last month, as well as a certain accessory that some may definitely find worthwhile.

If anything is true about this year's IFA trade show, taking place in Berlin, Germany, it is that it prompted quite the number of product announcements.

Even before the month of August was over, IT players were already talking about what their exhibitions would include.

Sony, naturally, did not let things go by without attracting some attention, as is more than obvious form just how many times its name pops up in the special section for IFA 2011 that we've set up here.

We actually have two fellow editors at the event and all the photos we managed to post about the many items on show are their handiwork, as are the videos.

Apparently, Sony has, in addition to everything else so far covered, a certain e-reader that was officially released at the end of August.

Quite simply, it is an electronic book reader whose screen size is of 6 inches (in diagonal) and which has touch support. Clear Touch Infrared, it turns out, which comes with the multitouch needed for pinch-to-zoom.

Additionally, the electronic features WiFi connectivity, as well as multiple casing color options (red, white and black).

Needless to say, the e-paper it is fashioned with (a 16-level gray greyscale Pearl screen of 600 x 800 pixels) has all the expected assets (likeness to real paper, high visibility, low power consumption, etc.).

Other specifications include 1.3 GB of storage space and a microSD card slot, which allows for an extra 32 GB).

In addition to this gadget (set to sell for $149 starting in October), Sony also presented the PRSA-CL10 cover (same color options) which provides light when things are dark and boasts a flexible arm.
