Both Motorola and Verizon are pushing hard for the release of Android 4.0.4 for DROID RAZR and DROID RAZR MAXX before the end of this quarter, and it seems that they might finally be ready to deliver.

No official announcement on the matter emerged as of yet, but the OS upgrade for the two handsets is currently mentioned on both companies’ websites.

At Motorola, users can learn all the necessary info on what to expect from the new OS version after installation, while also being able to access walkthrough videos highlighting some of these changes.

At the same time, Verizon is offering instructions on how to perform the upgrade, only a few days after starting to announce users on the near availability of the new platform.

Complemented by Android 4.0.4 being seeded to beta testers a few days ago, all this points to an imminent launch.

Update: The software is already rolling out to users, Verizon announced.
