ICO's Makers Continue with PlayStation 3

"Shadow of the Colossus" is ready, and the gaming community is anxiously waiting for the next title from the highly acclaimed developers. The answer was given in an interview with Fumito Ueda, game designer, who announced his fans that the title will be aimed at the PlayStation 3 console.

Still, considering that the latest title took three years to complete, the PS3 game will probably take much longer, especially since the console's specifications allow excellent graphical elements to be displayed.

Ueda also said that cell phone games are of no interest to him, although in Japan, the demand for such applications is on the rise.

Expanding the cell phones' processing capabilities allows the running of more complex applications, and the games for these devices are starting to look like console games.

ICO is famous for the games which depict a realistic world, with detailed graphics. Still, Ueda doesn't exclude the possibility that the next title will resort to 140 simpler animated characters.
