Katie Price, once known as UK’s most popular glamour model Jordan, has never made a secret of her love of Botox, hair extensions and plastic surgery. As a matter of fact, the star seems to have underwent a round of procedures just recently, presumably ahead of the release of her brand new single, “Free to Love Again.” The effects of that, though, are the opposite of what she wanted.

Friends talking to the British magazine New! reveal that, for weeks now, Katie has been plagued by uncertainty as regards her new Botoxed look. She knows now that she overdid it and she’s very sorry but, unfortunately, she can’t do anything about it for at least half a year, if not more, when the fillers and Botox will be absorbed by her organism and eliminated. That doesn’t mean though that she’s not hurt about what people are saying – and even her own children, who are telling her she looks like a duck.

“The children are calling me Daffy Duck and laughing at my puffy pillow face. Blown-up red lips, long dark hair and make-up. I do look like a duck,” Katie reportedly told a friend. “Katie thinks she looks like a cartoon character. She tries to laugh it off, but she knows she looks a state. She’s desperate to have the fillers dissolved and wants them out of her face,” the so-called friend dishes for New! She first had this reaction after seeing photos of herself on her wedding day to Alex Reid, when she exclaimed, “Oh my God, look at my beak. It’s an actual beak. It’s like [expletive]-ing ducks’ lips that stick out, it’s a joke.”

However, in public, Price is trying to play it cool, even saying in a recent radio interview that couldn’t care less about what people said of her looks and / or fashion sense. “I’m not bothered what people say about me or my looks. Boooooring. So much of what has been said about me has hurt, but it has made me more determined to be successful… If people knew the real story of what I’ve had to go through, they would think it’s unfair how badly I’ve been picked on,” the model, now trying to make it as a singer again, revealed during an interview for Radio 1’s Newsbeat.

In secret, Katie Price is determined to have some kind of procedure to reverse the damage done with the latest series of interventions and for which she’s already received a lot of criticism in the media. Chances of that actually happening are slim, experts say for New!, since her best shot right now at looking like her former self again is to stop getting Botox, fillers and surgery for at least a year, which she’s very unlikely to do.
