If you are in the messaging thing you may want to give i-text a serious thought. I-text is a new service that it is said to change the text messaging industry, by allowing users to send messages all over the world practically non-cost, thus being the last remaining piece of the ?text messaging" puzzle. i-text, enables users to send almost-free text messages from their mobiles, without having to get used to another form of this service.

As it is an "almost-free messaging service", in order to use i-text, users will have to pay their providers at their data rate, but they will not be charged with more than a penny per message, depending on the provider. Surprisingly some of these providers don't charge anything when it comes to small amounts of data in an i-text. Therefore, text messaging can be free of charge as long as you i-text it.

Texting your friends or relatives that happen to be using another service or that are abroad is no longer a problem, as by using i-text the cost for the messages that you will be sending them will be the same, almost nothing. The free service works with any Java-enabled GSM/GPRS phone, and serves up ad every time users are sending a text message. They will be required to pay for GPRS usage, as well as for text messages they receive. Users have to sign up, download the software to their Java enabled mobile phones and get free SMS text messages in return for viewing a couple of adverts. After subscribing, they will be shown a list of adverts and also a list of free text messages that they will be allowed to use, provided that they read their message.
