Two new QWERTY Pocket PCs are rumored to be launched soon by I-Mate. The details and photos of the soon to be unveiled JAQ 4 and SP JAM come from the Arabic site CE4Arab.com.

After JAQ3's release just a little time ago, I-Mate is now introducing its older brother to the users, the JAQ 4. The Candybar Pocket PC has mostly the same features as the JAQ3, it has a built-in QWERTY keyboard, as we have been accustomed to expect from a Pocket PC mobile phone, and runs on Windows Mobile 5.0.

Measuring 113 x 67.3 x 19.7 mm, it features a MiniSD card slot for memory expansion, in case the internal memory proves not to be enough, WiFi, Bluetooth, 64MB of RAM and 128 MB ROM memory. The JAQ 4 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE (although unfortunately not 3G) mobile featuring a 2.8 inch 65k color QVGA touchscreen display and is also rumored to have an integrated GPS SiRF Star III module.

The SP Jam, on the other hand, features a Fastap keypad instead of a QWERTY keyboard and comes equipped with a 2.8 inch 262k color display, WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo support and 256 MB of internal storage space.

It also runs on Windows Mobile 5.0, and sports a 2.0 megapixel camera, integrated GPS module and a TV-out port. Rumor also has it that the SP Jam is powered by a Freescale i-MX21 350MHz or i-MX31 532 MHz processor.

Both mobile phones are expected to hit the market very soon, most probably by February 2007.
