Microsoft is attempting to make aspects of the new $300 million Windows marketing campaign as pervasive as possible. In this context, not only is the Redmond giant moving to an international stage
with the video advertisements put together by ad agency Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, but also “breaking barriers” between products. In fact, even though Windows: Life without Walls is focused on the Windows ecosystem, spanning from the desktop client to mobile devices and to the cloud, and I'm a PC is reserved for machines running Windows, the latter was transitioned to Windows Live Messenger.

I'm a PC campaign. “To go with your Life Without Walls Wallpapers for your PC, you can now download the 'I’m A PC' Windows Live Messenger Theme Pack that gives you a variety of Display Pictures and Backgrounds for your IM conversation window,” revealed Microsoft's

Windows Live Messenger 9.0 (2009) Beta Build 14.0.5027.908, which is the latest development milestone made available from the next iteration of Windows Live Messenger, namely Wave 3.
Microsoft started offering the Beta build of Windows Live Messenger 9.0 (2009) in September 2008 along with additional testing releases of the Windows Live Wave 3 suite of products and services. The new release of the instant messaging client comes with an overhauled graphical user interface, but also with under the hood enhancements and features such as Groups and new file sharing capabilities. The Redmond giant has yet to reveal the delivery deadline for the RTW (release to web) version of Windows Live Messenger 2009, the successor of version 8.5. Also in September, LeBlanc made available a
Windows vs. Walls wallpaper, which is essentially an adaptation of the newspaper ads prepared by Microsoft.
