Kim Cattrall has recently talked about the reports describing her as the future godmother of Britney Spears baby son Sean Preston.
Kim, who portrayed Britney's mom in the 2002 film Crossroads, directed by Tamra Davis, was said to play an important role in baby Sean Preston's life.

According to one of the couple's friends, quoted by Britain's News of the World newspaper, "Britney loves Kim and will be asking her to be her godmother."

Kim Cattrall has recently confessed she would be honored to take on the role, but she is adamant the TOXIC singer has not approached her, according to Contactmusic.

The 49-year-old actress who played raunchy Samantha in "Sex and the City" has befriended Britney Spears while they worked together for "Crossroads".

"I would be so honored. Britney and I did a film together (CROSSROADS) and I think it started because I played her mother in the film. I am not the godmother of her child", Cattrall said.

"It put a smile on my face when I heard the rumour because I like her very much", Kim added.
