I'm sure you want that too...

Google decided to improve the Image Search service to make it more relevant and efficient so the company updated... the interface. The product is now more attractive and looks like a new technology but Image Search is surely less efficient. Let me explain this opinion. Let's suppose that I'm a daily Internet user and I'm searching Google a lot, numerous times a day.

Because I need images very often, I also use the Image Search several times so I configured the service to be my homepage. So, I opened my browser, clicked on the bookmark, typed my keyword and then look for the desired image. Usually, I prefer 250x250 pixel photos so the size information was quite useful for me. What I'm supposed to do now? Move the cursor over every photo to find the information about the picture and then click on it or find another suitable image? The answer: of course not, I'll use Yahoo Image Search!

Although I prefer Google Image Search, I'm forced to choose another service because the search giant provides no alternative. And now, I'm not talking about the new interface of the solution, I just want an alternative for it. Although I don't know the updating procedure of a certain technology, I bet it is extremely easy to place an option on the official page of the service to allow users to use either the new interface or the old one.

Some time ago, I wrote an article to present some interesting tips provided by blogger Ionut Alex that allows you to configure your browser to display the old interface of Google Image Search. Because I write about Google very often, I must keep them off to observe every new change added to the service provided by the company so, I'm forced again to use Yahoo Image Search. As a conclusion, Google Image Search update increases the number of Yahoo Image Search users.
