As more and more media outlets are ganging up on former “90210” star Tori Spelling, criticizing her incredible weight loss less than a year after giving birth to her second child, Tori herself is speaking against all rumors. She is not suffering from an eating disorder, and she is certainly not a size 0 as the tabloids claim, the actress says in an interview for the latest issue of Heat magazine.

On the red carpet at the launch of her latest book, “Mommywood,” Tori addressed the recent controversy regarding her weight, saying that it was the media inclination towards exaggeration that made of her a size 0 celebrity. She is, instead, in very good health, focusing on staying fit without doing harm to herself and, implicitly, her babies – and definitely not a size 0 as the tabloids claim.

“Oh my God, I’m not anorexic! People haven’t seen me not pregnant in two and a half years. I’m eating healthy, I just have a crazy lifestyle.” the actress says of her recent weight loss, which is far from “unhealthy,” as reports in the media have it. “The last thing I want to put out there is that it’s acceptable to be too thin or have an eating disorder because you’re in Hollywood. I have two kids that I need to be healthy for because they need their mom.” Spelling further explained.

Speaking of children, this is not the first time that Tori stresses the importance of staying healthy for them. As a matter of fact, she also credits her two children, Liam and Stella, with helping her lose weight after giving birth, because they’re such a delight to spend time with and do all sorts of outdoor activities.

“I would go for long walks or biking with the kids. We’d do physical activities every day.” Tori was saying back in January about how she managed to get her pre-baby body back. Of course, dieting was also involved, but it was more like eating healthy than sticking to a restrictive diet, the star further explained. “Breakfast was yogurt, fruit and nuts. Lunch was homemade soup with a sweet potato or soy milk base. We’d snack on celery and peanut butter, and then I’d make lean protein with vegetables for dinner.” Spelling said.
