Video game publisher Ubisoft and Valve announce that they are offering I Am Alive with a 40 percent price cut on the digital distribution service Steam for the next 24 hours, giving all those interested in the action adventure title the chance to get it for 8.99 dollars or Euro.

The official description of the game reads: “I Am Alive casts the player as a lone survivor in a believable, dark and insecure post-apocalyptic world. One year after the Event, a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped most of the human race, a man struggles for survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost wife and daughter.”

I Am Alive focuses on exploration of the apocalypse struck city and encourages players to resort to violence and confrontation only as a last choice.

Ubisoft Shanghai includes a special Easy mode, which is exclusive to the PC.
