Ubisoft has confirmed that it’s going to bring I Am Alive, its recently launched post-apocalyptic survival game, onto the PC platform next month with an array of improvements, including high-res textures and sharper visual effects.

Ubisoft’s various internal studios worked on I Am Alive for quite some time, trying to deliver a full-fledged survival experience. Eventually, the publisher decided to release it as a downloadable experience onto the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 at the beginning of the year.

Now, the company has confirmed that the PC version of the game would be released on September 13.

The wait is worth it, according to Ubisoft, as the new edition of the game boasts various improvements, from support for higher resolutions to sharper graphics and two new modes, in the form of an “Easy” difficulty and a Replay one, that lets players go through any unlocked levels to uncover secrets or hidden objects.

Expect more details about I Am Alive for PC soon.
