The Department of Public Transportation has revealed more information about a deadly crash on the I-10 yesterday.

Of the 19 vehicles involved in the collision, seven are passenger cars, ten are commercial vehicles, one is a tanker and one is a recreational vehicle.

They smashed into each other during a wind storm after noon on Tuesday, near Casa Grande, the Arizona Daily Sun reports.

The video above shows the horrific scene, where three people have died. At least one vehicle was stuck between two 18-wheelers. Others passenger cars were wedged under big rigs.

Several people were injured and they were airlifted to hospitals in Tucson and Phoenix. Officials report that at least one person is in critical condition.

The wife of one of the victims, 76-year-old Gordon Lee Smith, was also injured. There is no information on her current condition at this point, but I will keep you updated on developments.
