The latest in the series of Hyrule Warriors character trailers has been released by publishers Tecmo Koei and Nintendo, this time showing Fi in some fast-paced action sequences.

Link's companion during the adventures in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Fi, is the humanoid representation of the Goddess Sword, the spirit in the sword that guides Link throughout his journey.

Fi's fighting looks a bit weird, as she seems to glide around the battlefield and execute a series of graceful figure skating moves, with a multitude of spinning and kicking seeming to be her main way of disposing of enemies. She can also transform into a giant sword and deliver massive area-of-effect damage.

Nintendo has been pretty busy lately, releasing character trailer teasers and confirming that the upcoming game will utilize the GamePad for its two-player cooperative mode, with one player seeing the action on the big screen TV, and the other using the smaller one on the table controller.

Hyrule Warriors is a spin-off of Tecmo Koei's Dynasty Warriors series, sharing the same gameplay of a legendary warrior taking on an entire army of opponents and defeating them through a vast array of special moves.

The Nintendo Wii U exclusive action game is coming out on August 14 in Japan, September 19 in Europe, and September 26 in North America.
