14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Idea Factory announces that the Japanese role-playing game Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 will be making its way to Steam later this month.
The game was released on the PlayStation Vita handheld gaming console from Sony as a remake of the original PlayStation 3 exclusive Hyperdimension Neptunia, with reworked visuals and improved framerate, as well as numerous tweaks and alterations.
The PC edition of the title will run at 1080p resolution and will include dual voiceover tracks, which means that players will be able to enjoy both the Japanese and the English dubs. Players will be able to engage in thrilling battles with up to three characters on the field, and three more used for support.
You can also use plans to customize the game, changing enemy difficulty, dungeon treasures and many other parameters, as well as craft unique equipment with powerful abilities.
What the game is about
Hyperdimension Neptunia offers a humorous take on the console war between the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, with the action set in the magical world of Gamindustri, classy and most of all extremely subtle naming choice.
Four goddesses known as CPUs battle for supremacy in the War of the Guardians, and one of them (Neptune) was defeated and banished from the heavens by the other three.
Neptune finds herself lost and devoid of all memories, but a mystical book reveals itself to her, containing intimate knowledge about Gamindustri's history.
She then embarks on a journey across four different nations, aiming to save the entire world and reclaim her rightful place.
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 is coming to Steam for PC on January 28. Note that the game will be offered at half price for the first week after launch, after which it will be available with a $30 / €26 price tag.
