Compro Technology announces the VideoMate U2700, a hybrid USB 2.0 DVB-T and analog TV tuner box. This piece of equipment delivers digital terrestrial TV and universal analog TV broadcasts directly to your desktop or laptop PC.
The new device features Compro's Picture Purifying Technology, providing crystal-clear 1080i HDTV signals of free-to-air digital terrestrial and worldwide analog TV services directly to your PC via a USB connector. Compro's latest ComproDTV 3 software lets users watch digital/analog TV shows, set flexible and S3/S4 mode power-up scheduled recording, play recorded files, timeshift live TV, channel surf, capture still frames, and record TV programs straight to DVD. It also supports Transport Stream recording and playing back in digital TV, and enables functions for recording all the programs in the same stream. Users are now able to customize the order of channels and set favorite channel lists for ease of use.
