A new horror/thriller is preparing to get the green light on production and another star has just been added to its cast. Danny Huston, whose credentials include 'The Constant Gardner' and 'The Preposition', accepted to sharpen his fangs and play the part of the leader of a horde of vampires.
The story revolves around a town in Alaska, plunged into total darkness for thirty days, a most adequate moment for vampires and other evil night-creatures to strike and feed on the unsuspecting humans.
Melissa George and Joshua Harnett are already on board of the project, taking on the part of a sheriff and his wife, engaged in a desperate battle to drive the deadly creatures out of town and to stop the bloodshed.
'30 Days of Night' is directed by David Slade ('Hardy Candy') and is produced by Ghost House, where the entire activity is overseen by the genius behind 'Spider-Man', director Sam Raimi, and Robert Tapert. The Stuart Beattie script is entirely based on a horror comic book, designed by Steve Niles.
Shooting for the horror flick is to begin this month is New Zealand, but no release date has been yet scheduled.
