Huntkey decided to create a computer enclosure that, instead of focusing on aesthetics or overall feature richness, puts more emphasis on something most chassis don't focus on overmuch, namely electromagnetic radiation.

Like all electronics, any PC configuration creates an amount of electromagnetic radiation.

Normally, the amount of such radiation isn't actually seen as harmful to everyday users, but there are still certain chassis that pay it special mind anyway.

One of the newest was created by the aforementioned Huntkey and bears the name of Shield H405.

As the name implies, it is constructed in such a way as to reduce the amount of radiation that makes it out of the enclosure.

This is accomplished through several means, such as a removable metal panel in front of the hard disk drives and the EMI shrapnel and contract point at the back, for better sealing.

There is also a metal wrapping around an USB 3.0 connector rack, as well as 0.55cm airways that met both cooling and anti-radiation needs.

As for the actual specifications, Shield 405 measures 475 (L) x 190 (W) x 450 (H) mm and has a tool-free design for the PCI cards and ODDs (four 5.25-inch bays are available).

"The inspiration for the Huntkey SHIELD H405 case is a heavy truck, which stands for power and defense capability. The whole case is designed in matte black color, which provides mysterious, stable, and sturdy visual attack." said Mr. Jack Ye, from Huntkey industrial design department shares his created inspiration with audiences.

"The large steel mesh front panel and set-top connector handles reflect our concerns among excellent ventilation, dust and radiation protection and humanized factor," he added.

"The mission of Huntkey SHIELD H405 case is to create a cleaner and safer environment for our customers," said Villa Li, Huntkey product manager said.

Unfortunately, pricing details remained undisclosed.
