Huntkey is known for its power supplies, but it makes certain, less ordinary devices too.

What we are looking at here is a series of portable Power Banks, essentially batteries the size of phones.

Their purpose is to store energy for when a USB-connected device, like a phone, camera, GPS or media player, runs out of power and there is no power outlet around to recharge it.

Multiple color and charge options exist in the “spring 2012 collection” for now, with some more set to come eventually.

“A Power Bank is basically a battery the size of a mobile phone but allows you to recharge your digital devices several times with one load. As an indicator you refer to the mAh (mili-Ampere per hour) rating, defining how much power can be stored in the respective Power Bank,” the company says.
