An 80 Plus Bronze model is part of the same new line called FX

As if in support of AMD's FX-Series central processing units, Huntkey has introduced a couple of power supplies with red boxes and FX labeled clearly on the cardboard.

Called FX500SE and FX620M, the two are actually quite peculiar as far as PSUs go, in that the lower-wattage one has a better efficiency than the other.

Indeed, the FX500SE, with a wattage of 500 W, has an efficiency of up to 92% at typical load.

The FX620M is a 620W PSU limited to 620W and has a top efficiency of 87%, hence the 80 Plus Bronze rating.

Both have 12V rails (one) and Japan-made bulk capacitors, for extra stability.

Active PFC, Intel ATX 12V V2.31 & EPS 12V V2.92 compliance and various protections are part of the spec sheet as well, for both power supply units (OVP, UVP, OPP, OTP & SCP).

The Huntkey FX Series should be up for sale all over the world soon, for unspecified prices.
