Eight months ago, the 'Desperate Housewives' shirtless hunkie gardener met with pop sensation Nadine Coyle of the British group Girls Aloud. It was love at first sight, they said, and the relationship certainly did evolve at a very rapid pace. The two lovebirds never missed out on an opportunity of speaking out loud in front of the cameras, repeatedly hinting at a future marriage and at moving in together. They were seen house-hunting in Los Angeles and London, but they never found anything that quite suited their fancy. 'The Sun' informs that the love affair abruptly ended this week, when a teary Nadine dumped Jesse, despite still being in love with him. Apparently, the reason for the split was their busy schedules that began to influence in a very negative way their relationship. 'They had a tearful conversation at the start of the week and called it a day. They have both been flying to spend a few days with each other between work commitments. But it has not been easy.', a friend told the newspaper. Since they decided to call it off, Nadine has spent all her time reportedly crying, given that she really believed that Jesse was 'the one'. But it was too hard to keep a long-distance relationship going and, plus, she wasn't willing to put her musical career on hold. 'Nadine's work diary is filled up to 2008 and Jesse's film career has really taken off. It wasn't what either of them wanted but they felt they had no other option', the same source is quoted as saying.
