Robert Pattinson has already denied being involved in the “Hunger Games” sequel “Catching Fire,” or even being approached to play the role of Finnick Odair. Now, Taylor Kitsch too is out of the picture.

For some days now, three names have been circulated in connection to the character that is both painfully handsome and strong (yes, and a bit annoying too, at first): Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch and Armie Hammer.

In a brief email to LA Times' 24 Frames, Taylor himself squashes the rumor, saying just “Not going to happen.”

That leaves only Garrett and Armie as potential candidates for the role but, as we also noted the other day, Hammer might probably be too pretty to carry off the part, which also requires some meanness.

Hedlund is known from his role in “TRON: Legacy” and will soon be seen opposite Kristen Stewart in “On the Road.”
