Smaller and more stylish than we have expected it to be

Hummer used to stand until now for a large car, with the looks and the strength of a tank. With the recent launch of the Hummer HT1 mobile phone, now it stands for small size technology too.

The Hummer HT1 slider comes with several high performance features which can be assigned only to high quality mobile phones. This is obviously a statement device, as similar performances might be found in more accessible cellulars. Still, who could resist the thought of bringing to the surface all the masculinity that a phone with such a name comes with?

The design of Hummer HT1 is simple and follows the lines of the car with the same name. It is rather wide and slim, but a small mobile phone probably just wouldn't have suited the name. The handset comes in three colors: yellow, gray and dark green, all in military shades. Even more, the back cover has an army camouflage pattern design, which also adds to the rough image of this phone model.

Although wide, this handset is quite thin, at its 14, 9 mm. Even more, it proves to be considerably lighter than we might have expected from the name of Hummer. At 100g, the HT1 is quite easy to handle and use.

Moreover, Hummer HT1 comes with a 2 megapixel camera for capturing images at a high quality and an internal memory space of up to 256 MB. Still, a microSD slot is available for adding storage space of up to 2 GB.

There is no mention on just how strong and resistent this cellular might prove to be on impact. Still, we expect it to withstand the same amount of forces that the car would, just on the basis that it is called Hummer.

If a car is out of reach, anyone can still be a Hummer owner only for the small price of 300 euros.
