The promotion for these games will last only for a couple of more days

A new Humble Weekly Bundle called Simulators 2 has been released and is packed with Linux-ready games.

It's been quite a while since the previous Humble Weekly Bundle that featured so many games that also worked on the Linux platform, but users can now once again choose from a wealth of titles and all of them are simulators of some kind.

To be fair, not all the games in the Humble Weekly Bundle: Simulators 2 collection can be played on Steam for Linux, but only a couple of them are Windows-only. Still, the collection is totally worth it, especially if you like sims.

“Our excitement for simulation games is borderline unhealthy. Seriously, we love simulators so much we might need a doctor simulator to diagnose us. There is something relaxing about going home after a long day of hauling a truck across Europe. Don't believe us? Try it!”

“Pay what you want for Universe Sandbox, Cook, Serve, Delicious! and Out of the Park Baseball 14. Pay $6 (€4.45) or more to also get Turbo Dismount and Tropico 4: Steam Special Edition. If you contribute $10 (€7.42) or more, you'll get everything plus Euro Truck Simulator 2 along with the brand new Fantasy Paint Jobs Pack available exclusively through this bundle. A wallet simulator sounds like a good concept. If you bought all of these games separately, it'd cost you up to $96 (€71), but we're letting you name your price,” reads the official website.

Even if users can pay any sum to get the first three games, they will need to pay at least $1 (€0.7) to get the Steam keys for their games. If you don't want to install the titles via Steam, the guys who put together the Humble Bundles also provide installation packages for every title.

All the games are DRM-free (digital rights management) and users can install them anywhere and as many times as they wish. Also, people are encouraged to split the money they pay for the games towards a couple of charities. It's possible to send a part of the sum to the developers and the rest to the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the American Red Cross.

Also, keep in mind that a new major Humble Bundle collection is probably underway and that you can also buy Linux games in the Humble Bundle store, which was opened just a few months ago and which provides the same kind of services.
