Justin Jedlica is the most famous human Ken Doll and occasionally a direct rival to Valeria Lukyanova’s title of Human Barbie, when he chooses to dress up like the famous Mattel doll to show that anyone could do what Valeria is doing.

Jedlica also fancies himself a “work of art,” where he expresses himself creatively by getting more work done, with the ultimate goal of becoming 100% plastic. Today, he’s a few steps and about $40,000 (€34,373) closer to that goal, because of more interventions he’s had.

Removal of forehead veins, back implants

Jedlica, it seems, is documenting his surgical transformation on camera, with footage from his most recent interventions being released by the Daily Mail. You can find it at the end of the article, *but please be advised that it contains graphic imagery that might offend or otherwise be deemed disturbing.

So far, he estimates he’s had about 185 procedures done in total, of which 20 or so were actual surgeries. His most recent, which saw his dreaded forehead veins removed, was also his most dangerous because he ran the high risk of going blind, he tells the British tab in a statement.

He also had implants put in his back (which he designed), matching the ones in his chest and arms, meant to give him a muscular figure without actually having to go to the gym to get it. Apparently, Jedlica doesn’t see a problem with the fact that his “muscles” are making him look disproportionate.

Before these new interventions, he had spent an estimated $220,000 (€189,052) on plastic surgery, but money is not the issue: he insists he’s not narcissistic and he’s not body dysmorphic, and that he’s not even half done with his “work.”

100% plastic

To give you an idea of Jedlica’s commitment to turning into plastic, as shown in the video below, he actually set up an entire house for his recovery periods, where he spends time hanging out with his friends and his mother.

He says that this helps him get over the pain of the recovery by turning this otherwise miserable period into a non-stop party. In previous interviews, Jedlica said that his rich lover had paid for all his surgical work, so chances are he footed the bill for the house as well.

Then again, Jedlica is now working as a plastic surgery consultant and he’s also designing and selling his own implants. He might be able to afford the cost of the surgeries now – which is a good thing, because the bills are going to keep piling up.

“I have a reputation of being one of the most extreme plastic surgery addicts in the world and I love continuing to push the limits,” he says. “As an artist I've always enjoyed drawing and sculpting and for me plastic surgery is an extension of my creativity. But as a very detail oriented person I always find something new to critique and fix.”

He plans to become 100% plastic and will follow up these procedures with implants of abdominal and calf “muscles.”
