Robert Bowling and the developers behind the Ouya open games consoles have announced that they are collaborating in order to deliver the first exclusive game for the platform, which will serve as a direct prequel to his upcoming game Human Element.

Earlier Bowling revealed that he planned to launch a number of titles linked to Human Element, allowing “a player on mobile should be able to engage in the universe, continue their progression, grow their persistent character, and experience the lore of the universe in a unique way from the other less tactile experiences on PC or consoles and vice versa.”

Ouya is an ambitious project to create an Android-powered game platform that will be completely open and will allow any developer or user to hack and modify it.

The home console will be funded via a crowdfunding effort that is already underway on Kickstarter.

Both Human Element video games from Robotoki should be out during 2015.
