Owners of Windows Phone 8 devices will soon be able to enjoy a new highly appealing application / service on their smartphones, namely Hulu Plus, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the video-on-demand service has received a lot of requests for the release of a Windows Phone 8 application, and has already started the work on it.

In fact, if a response received from a Hulu support team member is to be believed, the application is almost completed, and it might be released on devices sooner rather than later.

“We get a lot of requests for this platform, and we’ve been working on making it available for some time. In fact, the app should be released in the near future,” the Hulu employee said, according to this post on Reddit.

As phoneArena notes, Hulu’s service is offered for free (with ads), and with a premium subscription (semi-ad-free).
