Hulu have just updated their Android client with new content, new features and bug fixes. The most important seems to be the fact that users can now take advantage of the free trial, which is available within the app.

Simply sign up for a free trial of Hulu Plus without leaving the application and you’re set up. Beside the free trial option, developers also added “Trending Now” content, which enables users to access the hottest videos of the day with ease.

Furthermore, navigation on phones in landscape mode is now possible thanks to the newly integrated support for 90 degrees rotations. However, upside-down landscape is still not supported in standard gravity.

As we mentioned earlier, some bug fixes and optimizations have been included in the update as well, but no additional details are available yet.

Hulu Plus 2.7.201013 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with select devices running Android 2.x, as well as most Android 3.1+ and 4.x phones and tablets. Check it out here.
