Hulk Hogan is mad and he’s not sparing anyone in the recent leaked tape scandal. The former wrestler turned action movie star is suing his best friend and his ex-wife, but also Gawker and all its affiliates, asking for $100 million (€76.9 million) in damages.

His attorney’s statement is in the video below, embedded at the end of the article.

Fans must already know that a tape of Hulk and Heather Clem, aka Heather Cole, ex-wife of Bubba the Love Sponge Clem, his best friend, having relations was leaked online.

Gawker was the only media outlet to have posted online several minutes’ worth of footage from it, insisting on not removing it even after attorneys for the star sent out a cease and desist notice.

Several hours ago, Hulk and his attorneys filed two separate lawsuits: one against Bubba and his ex-wife for videotaping him without his consent and then making the video public, the other against Gawker.

From Gawker, the star is seeking $100 million (€76.9 million) as damages for violation of privacy. It’s as yet uncertain how much he’s seeking from Bubba and Heather, though they too are named as important players in this shameless scheme.

“[Hulk Hogan] had a reasonable expectation of privacy in his consensual, intimate activities in a private bedroom and reasonably believed that his privacy was safe and protected,” the star’s attorney says.

Bubba, Heather and Gawker’s actions were “illegal, outrageous, and exceeded the bounds of human decency,” he adds.

Oddly enough, Bubba too is a victim, his own attorney says for the New York Daily News. Suing a victim is ridiculous whichever way you look at it.

“Our position, and Terry [Hulk by his real name] knows this, is that Bubba is a victim here too. I don’t know how you sue a victim. Let’s see how it all plays out. Bubba loves Terry, the best man at his wedding. They’re best friends for a lifetime. Bubba would literally take a bullet for the guy,” Stephen Diaco, Bubba’s lawyer, says.
