Hulk Hogan is working on new reality show, “Micro Wrestling”: wrestling for little people

After a few years off the small screen following his impressive comeback with VH1’s “Hogan Knows Best,” former wrestler Hulk Hogan is again getting ready for his closeup, with a new project called “Micro Wrestling,” which will focus on the wrestling world of little people.

Radar Online recently has learned that newlywed Hogan is working on a brand new project for television, a reality show in which he would not be the central attraction, but close enough.

The show, Hogan’s rep says for Radar, will take viewers backstage in the world of wrestling for little people. The wrestling pro will be their mentor and source of inspiration.

“He’s the guy who inspires, recruits, trains and mentors them. He’s been involved in every step – only this time it’s on a smaller scale,” Hogan’s rep says for Radar, unable to resist making the obvious joke.

This statement, apparently hinting that Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) would be featured on the new show in other capacities as well (perhaps as producer, for instance), has prompted talk that the star is determined to make the most of this most recent, perhaps final shot at reality TV that he’s getting.

“[The show] will explore the fascinating world of wrestling on the scale of little people. It will show their extraordinary physical capabilities and the true strength of people of that stature,” the rep further says.

For the time being, the new project goes by the name “Micro Wrestling” and is described as “in production.” No release date has been announced as of now, but it is believed it will air on TruTV.

Speaking of wrestling and Hogan, his rep reveals that the star is now in the best shape of his life, following complicated back surgery late last year to treat an older injury.

In fact, Hulk is in such good shape he wouldn’t rule out completely the possibility of making a comeback to wrestling as well sometime in the future.

“His health is exceptional. He’s improved dramatically. He’s in better shape now than he has been in 15 years,” the rep explains.
