Hulk Hogan's Son Going to Jail!

- He sure has some debts to pay to the law

By: Monica Gaza, Entertainment News Editor

Finally, some justice in this world. Remember Hulk Hogan's 17-year-old son Nick Bollea? He was involved in a horrendous car crash a few months ago, from which he escaped unscathed but in which he managed to almost kill a friend. And finally it seems that Nick will have to face the consequences of his own actions and is expected to turn himself into Clearwater, FL police today on a warrant for Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury.

I can't say much except "about time". The fact is, it has long been proved that the younger Hogan's passion for going dangerously fast was hard fact and not some sort of speculation.
As proof, Nick has had at least three tickets issued to him in the course of the past year. In one of the past cases, the officer clocked Nick going 115mph in a 70 zone. His passion for speed however was not doubled by any special skills, as despite fancying himself a race driver in the making, Hogan only had his driver's license for a year prior to the crash.

The really tragic part however is that Joe Graziano, Nick's friend who was in the passenger's seat when he lost control of his yellow Toyota Supra (which flipped over and hit a palm tree full on) in August, has suffered serious brain damage, is still in intensive care and will pretty much be a vegetable for the rest of his life. It appears that the authorities finally realized Nick might bear the entire blame for ruining his young friend's life and have decided to investigate the matters properly.

It's no secret to anyone that Hick Hogan was fond of speed and thought about himself as an aspiring race driver. However, if the investigation proves (or maybe it already did) that Nick was involved in a street race at the time of the accident (as several witnesses have claimed), things could turn very nasty for him. I have to sound judgmental – but he definitely deserved to gain a lot more awareness on the terrible consequences of his own actions, and I have a feeling he will, too – and soon.

Update - Nick is currently in jail and has the nerve to imply that Graziano is to blame for his tragic current condition – allegedly because he was not wearing a seatbelt. This is part of the statement Nick has just released.

"Nick and the entire 'Hogan' Bollea family are saddened that criminal charges have been filed in regards to the tragic single car accident on August 26, 2007. Nick will meet and answer these charges in the appropriate arena – a court of law. The family's primary focus and concern still remains for the continued recovery of Nick's longtime friend John Graziano. The Bolleas will also continue to stand by the Graziano family and help them in any way they can.

The tragedy to both families is compounded by the fact that unfortunately John was not wearing his seatbelt. Thankfully, Nick was wearing his. Because of what happened to John, the entire Bollea family will make it a priority to increase public awareness about the importance of always wearing your seatbelt.

There has been much speculation as to the speed and wet road conditions surrounding this accident. Although all the evidence has not been evaluated, preliminary reports from the experts indicate that this was not, in fact, a high-speed accident".

Hulk Hogan's Son Going to Jail! - USER OPINIONS

my opinion is its not like Nick was telling his long time friend "hey you know what i am going to run my car into this palm tree ahead and try to kill you ok?" It was an accident. Not on purpose. yeah he was probably speeding but still nick was the smart one to put his seat belt on. His friend who was older than nick should of KNOWN to put his selt belt on. I am the same age as nick and I feel that if nick goes to jail than any one that has already had 2 or 3 speeding ticket in the past month or so should go to jail to.

It was obvious to me 3 sentences in that u must be a kid. Let's not forget that though John didn't physically die, his quality of life did. While there definately was no intention on Nick's part, there was negligence. John is definately paying the price, so should Nick. Someone's life lost, vs 2-3 traffic tickets. Seriously grow up. No matter ehat the final outcome, John and his family have had their lives changed forever. Nick is a promising young man and doesn't deserve to live the rest of his life in prison, but if this happened to u or me, we'd likely be looking at 10 years at least in prison. Surely not 8 months. Celebs are to be hels accountable for their actions just like everyone else. What if John were your brother, you'd want to see more justice then I'm sure.

Nick was the driver. In my State if someone is not wearing a seat belt the driver gets the ticket. Nick should have made sure his friend was wearing his seat belt. Nick broke the law by racing on the highway. He was lucky that no one was killed. I guess because of whom his father is he thought he could do as he pleased. I hope his time in jail makes him grow up!

Tragic. But to my understanding Nick didn't force hid friend Joe into the car. Joe knew what he was getting into, especially if Nick already has a reputation for speeding. Of course at that age it's hard to have clear judgment, but at the end of the day it was an accident, however tragic it was.
