Hugh Jackman Gushes About His Wife: She’s the Greatest Woman I Ever Met

Hugh Jackman is again proving that he isn’t just an incredibly talented actor and singer, but also an overall awesome human being, husband and father. Below are two segments from his recent interview with Kate Couric.

Hugh is now promoting his latest movie, “Les Miserables,” which is said to bring him an Oscar nomination and, hopefully, the actual statuette as well at the gala in February.

In the interview, he talks about his gorgeous wife Deborra-Lee Furness, how she sacrificed her career to stay at home with the kids so that he can pursue his acting dream, and how she is basically the most amazing woman ever.

“I think for me, she is one of the great actors I know, she is incredible. In fact, she had a time in Hollywood and I run into people, really powerful, big people, who say, ‘Congrats to you, but your wife is really one of the most talented’ and every time I hear that, it reminds me of the sacrifice she’s made, her selflessness, her love and what she’s done for the kids,” Hugh says.

“We always made family a priority but I’m acutely aware, every day, that actually, when it comes to sacrifices, Deb has shouldered most of those,” the actor adds.

He also opens up about their fertility problems and Deborra’s miscarriages, but explains that they had always planned to adopt.
