14 DAY TRIAL // Crystal Harris and Hugh Hefner were married last year on New Year’s Eve, after a very brief second engagement – the first one ended when she ran out on him days before the wedding. A new report claims the marriage is in serious trouble as we speak.
With a 60-age difference between them (Crystal is 27, The Hef is 87), one would be excused for thinking they don’t have that much in common, but that’s something they always denied, saying they did a lot of things together at the Mansion and, more importantly, had a lot of things in common to talk about as well.
As it turns out, those many things aren’t really that many and, less than a year after the marriage, Crystal has learned that being married to such an old man doesn’t really leave any room for excitement. Or, at least, not for the kind of excitement she might want given her age.
In fewer words, Crystal is bored out of her mind.
“The third time is not the charm for Hugh Hefner – his marriage to Crystal Harris is in trouble! Hef, 87, is boring his 27-year-old wife with his hermitlike behavior,” Star Magazine writes in its latest print issue (story via CB).
An insider confirms that the relationship is in crisis and that Crystal might be filing for divorce any day now just to get out of the house for a change.
“Hef is in his PJs all day and never wants to go out. [The couple’s nightly routine consists of dinner at 6 pm, followed by watching TV in bed.] For special treats, Hef will play Dominos or put on Crystal’s favorite movie, The Little Mermaid, but he’s usually asleep before it’s over,” the spy says.
However, if Crystal is really thinking of divorce The Hef, she won’t be walking away from the marriage a rich woman. According to relatively new reports online, the media mogul made her sign an “ironclad” prenup before they got hitched because… well, because he’s been around the block for some time and knows how these things go.
