14 DAY TRIAL // He may have been dumped at the altar, but Hugh Hefner is not the man to hold grudges especially when it comes to beautiful women. He's back with his ex-fiancée / almost wife Crystal Harris, it has emerged.
One year ago, Crystal and Hugh were getting ready to walk down the aisle, amidst a lot of talk about how the media mogul had finally found a woman to convince him that married life wasn't all that bad.
Precisely one week before the ceremony, they got into a fight and she walked out of the Playboy Mansion, calling off the wedding and swearing never to return.
Her determination lasted this long, Radar Online says, citing well informed inside sources.
“After being unceremoniously dumped just a week before his wedding by Crystal, who snuck out of the Playboy Mansion and fled into the arms of another man, Hef has forgiven her and welcomed her home with open arms,” the celebrity e-zine reports.
When Crystal came begging to be welcomed back, Hef had already come to terms with the idea of being dumped in such an embarrassing fashion.
However, because he loves her, he took her back.
“Crystal begged Hef to let her come back. He surprisingly doesn’t have any hard feelings against her, so he let her move back into the Mansion,” a source is quoted as saying.
They are now happy together again, as if nothing of the past year ever took place. Unfortunately, this also means that one of Hefner's more recent girlfriends had to pack up her things and go.
“Shera Berchard, Hef’s #1 girlfriend, moved out as soon as Crystal moved back in. Hef and Crystal are really happy back together,” says the spy.
So happy they are that one shouldn't even think of ruling out the possibility of them going through with the wedding after all.
“Never say never where Hugh Hefner is concerned,” the spy explains.
Useless to point out, but word of the reconciliation (assuming the above is accurate and not just unfounded rumors) has already gotten people talking about how the entire thing, including the following scandal, was just a PR stunt.
At the time, Crystal was trying to launch a career as a pop star. She and Hef also got a TV special with the wedding preparations and what happened after she left the Mansion.
