A California woman is living a nightmare reminiscent of the Alfred Hitchcock's movie “The Birds,” as a huge flock of birds are invading her house every night.

Shirley Brown arrived home Friday night to discover that an army of wild birds had come down her chimney and were flying around inside the house. The woman says it was like a terrifying scene from the 1960's cult classic. The birds were everywhere, in her kitchen, behind the TV, under the couch, and even on the ceiling fan.

“They come out of nowhere, they was like 200-300 of them...yea I screamed a couple of times,” the woman said.

“I think the most horrifying was how they got in and the mess that they were making while they were here because birds are scared and they are pooping,” she added.

Shirley spent several hours getting them out of the house and cleaning up their mess. She initially believed the birds were just trying to hide from the storm that evening, but she couldn't explain why they would come back every night.

She just hopes the birds are migrating and will move on with the weather change.

The most bizarre thing about this story is that although there are six homes with chimneys on Mrs. Brown's street, the birds are always picking hers.
