It looks like Nokia N95 needed some considerable upgrading

Nokia admitted the fact that their N95 phone model could have used some upgrades and improvements in certain areas and started work on them. Their Firmware 12.0.013 Upgrade has just been released, bringing solutions to a large number of problems.

The change log has also sprung out along with the release of the Firmware 12.0.013 Upgrade application. The impressive thing about it is definitely its huge size. It looks like Nokia has released a phone with a considerable number of errors. Beyond this fact, their struggle to solve as many as possible comes as excellent news for Nokia N95 phone owners.

The upgrade package also includes some new features, such as A-GPS and HSDPA indicator, both free services coming from Nokia. Other general improvements include more than 30 changes. Among them, some important ones are also included. Nokia has upgraded many WLAN performances, memory card corrections and the voice mail number now correctly reads from the SIM card.

The browser has also received several improvements to file upload, HSDPA throughput and stability issues too. The media player and gallery have also been upgraded in order to better respond to the user's media entertainment needs. They now provide more reliable handling solutions for media files than in the past.

The messaging service has brought improvements in messaging application, email handling and email sync as well as correction to MMS sending during VT call. The camera also has benefited from upgrades, as the Sharpness value is no longer changed along with the camera scene mode.

Other improvements make the MT video call show correctly on UI and also bring map upgrades in the navigation system. Moreover, WLAN APN has been removed from AGPS positioning server settings. All in all, more than 70 upgrades have been included in the Firmware 12.0.013 Upgrade for Nokia N95 handset.
